What do I need to arrange myself for a payment terminal?
Nothing. Just switch it on and you’re ready to go. However, for a smooth experience, here are a few things to check:
1) A good internet connection. Without it, payments won’t go through. Make sure you have a wired connection, reliable Wi-Fi, or a mobile signal.
2) A working power socket (230V). This is essential for fixed terminals. Portable terminals only need power for charging. No power at your location or a low battery? Feel free to ask us for an extra battery.
3) Returning the terminal after use. It doesn’t get any easier. Just place the terminal back in the transport box, attach the included return label, and choose either collection or drop-off.
4) Do you need insurance? It’s not mandatory, but if you’d like, you can arrange it with your own insurer.
How are the deposit and fees settled?
The fees and deposit are deducted from your revenue. Once the terminal has been returned in good condition, the deposit will be refunded automatically.

You need to sign an agreement with your credit card payment processor (also known as an acquirer). Let them know that you will be using a terminal from RENT TO PAY. We will link the terminal to your account number and ensure it is properly disconnected once the rental period ends.
